MarSha MedSpa started in 2020 as an extension of Shaikh Medical Clinic, continuing the tradition of medical care that began in Garner in 2000. We offer a more personal approach to aesthetics, with every recommendation guided by specialized training, and respect for your health, comfort, and goals.

Since founding MarSha MedSpa in 2020, Mariya has guided its strategy, patient experience, culture, growth, and community relationships.

2000
A practice takes root
Dr. Shaikh, fresh from residency at Cornell, opens Shaikh Medical Clinic in Garner and begins two decades of care for the community.
2005
More than a clinic
He co-founds Mariam Clinic for the uninsured and trains Duke, UNC, and Campbell students through Wake AHEC. Medicine, always tied to community.
2020
MarSha MedSpa is born
Mariya Shaikh founds MarSha as an extension of the clinic, built to fill one gap: aesthetic care with a physician always on site.
2020–2025
A team grows
Nurse practitioners, nurses, and estheticians join, each trained by the makers of the treatments they perform, offering care in English and Spanish.

Physician-led care
A full range of aesthetic, wellness, and medical treatments across the Triangle. Still grounded in medicine, still honest by default.
Rooted in the community
Since 2000, we've been part of this community in free clinics, nursing homes, classrooms, and local causes.
