Questions we hear most
No. Blue Peel Radiance is a salicylic acid-based superficial peel with lactic and glycolic acids. The original Obagi Blue Peel is TCA-based and has a different treatment and recovery profile. Availability of Radiance does not mean MarSha offers every Obagi peel.
Plan for possible redness, dryness and flaking over several days. The amount varies and is not a score of how well treatment worked. Follow the written plan for makeup, exercise, heat and active skincare; a no-downtime result is not guaranteed.
It may help selected congestion, uneven-looking tone and surface texture. Painful or persistent acne needs medical care. Flat post-blemish marks are different from depressed scars, which a superficial peel will not erase. Melasma may need a separate long-term plan.
Some patients may be suitable after careful assessment. Pigment changes and irritation remain possible, especially with a history of dark marks after inflammation. Tell your provider about salicylate or aspirin allergy, pregnancy, medicines and any active skin flare before treatment.
The number and spacing depend on your concern, tolerance and response. One treatment and a course serve different goals; repeat care is considered after reviewing the skin. No fixed series or permanent result applies to everyone.
