Questions before you book?
Laser treatment aims at long-term hair reduction, not guaranteed permanent removal. Many people need a course of visits, and regrowth or maintenance needs vary with hair, skin and hormones.
Clarity II’s 1064 nm Nd:YAG option can treat suitable darker skin with carefully selected settings. Dark hair responds best. White, gray, red and very light hair respond poorly; fine facial hair also needs assessment.
It can reduce suitable dark facial hair, but it does not treat the hormonal cause of PCOS. More sessions and ongoing maintenance may be needed. Discuss excess hair growth and any medical treatment with your provider.
You may feel warm snaps or brief stinging. Clarity II’s cooling helps manage discomfort; sensitivity varies with the area treated and the person.
Most people resume normal activities. Shave once irritation settles and your provider advises. Avoid waxing, plucking and threading between visits. Follow sun-protection, heat, exercise and skincare guidance while your skin recovers.
Individual-area and full-body packages cover unlimited treatments and touch-ups for two years from the first treatment. Full body excludes face and scalp, which can be purchased separately. Call (919) 747-9733 or Contact Us to plan your areas.
