When gradual support fits your goal
A plan that builds over time
Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA. It stimulates a gradual collagen response rather than providing the immediate gel volume of an HA filler.

Questions before you book?
Sculptra uses PLLA to stimulate a gradual collagen response. Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite in a gel and provides initial volume support. HA fillers offer different options for selected folds, lips and contours. The right choice depends on your anatomy, goals and preferred timeline.
The average course is two to three sessions over a few months, commonly at least three to four weeks apart. Vial needs depend on the area and your response. There is no reliable age-based vial rule; agree on a personalized estimate and reassess between visits.
It may improve suitable facial wrinkles and thinning, including changes noticed after weight loss. It does not replace lost fat or bone, remove excess skin or provide a surgical facelift. Your provider assesses whether volume loss, skin laxity or another concern is driving the change.
Lumps, nodules, delayed inflammation and changes outside the intended area can occur. Sculptra cannot be dissolved with the enzyme used for HA fillers. Contact your provider for persistent swelling or new lumps; unusual pain, skin color changes, vision changes or stroke symptoms need immediate medical help.
Sculptra is used for selected facial wrinkles and volume-related concerns. It is not injected into the lips or around the eyes; other treatment areas need a separate assessment.
MarSha MedSpa is self-pay. Your assessment guides the treatment plan and any personalized quotation. Call (919) 747-9733 or Contact Us to arrange your visit.
